Blade Awakening is the seventh Scarlet & Violet expansion to be released in the Simplified Chinese language version of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Most of its cards originate from the Japanese Wild Force, Cyber Judge, and Crimson Haze sets, as well as a small number from other sets and products, including Transformation Mask, the Starter Deck & Build Sets, and the Generations Start Decks. The expansion focuses on Greninja ex, the Fighting-type Tera Pokémon ex, and sees the introduction of ACE SPEC cards to the Simplified Chinese language version of the game.
Blade Awakening features one card exclusive to the Simplified Chinese language: a special illustration rare print of Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking.
 
Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking will receive a brand new Special Illustration Rare in the set that hasn't released anywhere else in the world. It will remain exclusive to China, like their previous alternate artworks
